In this concert, trumpeter Frederic Paci, leads a tribute to the jazz trumpet legends who have influenced him over the years, including Lee Morgan, Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker, Roy Hargrove, Freddy Hubbard, and Clifford Brown.

Fred is kept very busy by day (and many evenings) as a member of the Central Band of the Canadian Forces. With his full schedule, we often don’t get the chance to see enough of him but he’s one of the finest trumpet players in the region and it’s for good reason he’s the lead trumpeter with the Ottawa Jazz Orchestra.

Don’t miss this opportunity to appreciate Fred’s superb playing and musicianship as well as the other fine members of this band. This will be a reunion of sorts as every member of this band is either a current or former member of the Central Band of the Canadian Forces or has performed with the Central Band.
