The name of this show says it all. Pianist Mike Manny, bassist Michael Herring, and drummer Scott Latham will play the hard-hitting, driving music originally performed by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers during the period from 1954 to 1964. You’ll get a new appreciation for this fabulous music when you hear it (without horns) performed by this great piano trio.
This concert will feature inter-city collaboration with Mike Manny and Scott Latham performing from Ottawa and Michael Herring performing from Toronto.
